Mould is a microscopic fungus that grows in damp warm places. The spores are visible and will be black, grey or green in colour. It has a damp and musty smell and rapidly grows if not properly handled. 

You will often find this fuzzy mould in bathrooms, kitchens and behind wardrobes, and you will find more mould in older uninsulated properties.
