Aussies In London

In order to get a referral to a specialist doctor you will need to first book an appointment with your GP. You will need to be clear with your concerns in order to get a referral.

When booking the appointment with your GP you’ll need to be specific in regards to your concerns. Instead of requesting a ‘general checkup’ you’ll need to state something more specific eg: “I have concerns about a mole on my skin”. It’s important to remember that when your GP refers you, it will be for the next available appointment, this may not happen for some weeks.
