It is likely that your property will have some mould over the winter months and less in the summer months. Excessive mould comes mostly from structural issues in the property. There currently is not enough research to determine what is a ‘safe’ amount of mould. Remaining diligent with your cleaning will prevent most mould from forming, but if you find mould forming despite frequent cleaning it is likely that this will come under ‘Category 1’.
