Monzo credits itself with being able to open an account with them in 15 minutes. You will need to download the IOS or Android app to your phone, verify your identity with a passport or other photo ID and create an account. 

You can only apply for a Monzo account in the UK otherwise you will not be approved for an account and may not be able to apply again.
